Cult & Culture

Thus we see that the human race is called to interact deliberately with the earth—work, till, cultivate—while at the same time lovingly serving his divine master with undivided devotion and worshiping his Maker. Culture is never to be an autonomous gesture on the part of mankind but is instead to be understaken in humble submission to God’s law-command. In the making of culture, work and worship are inseparable. Culture was meant to be done to the glory of God (1 Cor. 10:31).
