Trinity Church is a local gathering of saints who love the Lord Jesus Christ because He first loved us. We are evangelical and reformed. By evangelical, we mean that we proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the world, that He is the only way of salvation, and believing that Christ came to accomplish just that, the salvation of the world. By reformed, we mean that we stand in the stream of historical Protestantism; we believe that God's sovereignty is absolutely exhaustive, and we embrace the doctrines of grace wholeheartedly.

Trinity Church is a member of the Anselm Presbytery of the Communion of Reformed Evangelical Churches

Here are some of our ongoing ministries:

Trinity Church Music

Oh, sing to the LORD a new song! Sing to the LORD, all the earth.  Psalm 96:1

Music at Trinity Church exists for two reasons. First and foremost, it exists to glorify God. We are called to offer up our songs of praise and thanksgiving to Him who is alone worthy. Secondly, the music exists to edify the saints. We are called to be continually learning and maturing in our ability to worship God in the beauty of holiness. The following choirs, classes, and meetings are offered to these ends.

If you have any questions about any of the music at Trinity Church, please contact our Chief Musician, Joe Hyink, at (425-591-1222).

Chancel Choir (Adults and High School)

The Chancel Choir is open to all regularly attending adult or high school members of Trinity Church upon the approval of the Chief Musician. The Chancel Choir exists to provide musical leadership for the church through singing for Sunday morning worship services, Evensongs, Psalm Sings, etc. Rehearsals run from September through June on Thursdays from 7:40-8:55 pm and most Sundays from 9:30-9:45 am in the SDA sanctuary.

Bel Canto Choir (Grades 4-8)

The Bel Canto (.Beautiful Singing.) Choir is a treble choir for young men and women in grades 4-8. They learn the basics of music theory, vocal production, and sight-singing during the course of the year. The Bel Canto Choir sings for approximately four meditations each year in addition to Evensongs, Lessons and Carols, and Psalm Sings. Rehearsals run from September through June on most Sundays from 12:00-12:30 pm in the Junior Room just off the foyer. Advance notice to the Chief Musician is recommended for those interested in joining the group but no previous musical experience is required.

Jubilate Singers (Grades 1-3)

All children from grades 1-3 are invited to join the Jubilate Singers on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45 in the Junior Room (concurrent with Sunday School). Our primary goal is to help the children participate in the worship service. They learn and practice singing and theory through Christian and traditional folk songs and games, and they also learn how to use musical tools like the hymnal. The Jubilate Singers will occasionally sing for a meditation, an Evensong, or a Lessons and Carols service, but they are not primarily a performance-based choir. All are welcome to join at any part of the year. No previous musical experience is necessary.

Psalm Sings (Everyone is Invited)

Psalm Sings occur once a month (usually the first Sunday of each month following the monthly feast). They exist to serve the entire congregation by offering an opportunity to learn new psalms and hymns, review less familiar music and .old favorites,. and equip the saints to sing with greater spiritual and musical understanding. All are invited to attend this time of singing, fellowship, and instruction.

Mens’ Meeting

As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17

The men of Trinity meet every month to study, pray and fellowship together. This meeting is open to all men and usually held on the fourth Wednesday, 7-9:30pm in the SDA Fellowship Hall.

Ladies’ Fellowship

Every month the women of Trinity meet for prayer, study and fellowship, to encourage and build one another up. This meeting usually works through a book that challenges and informs the calling of women to imitate Christ. Meetings times vary, but generally are held on the last Tuesday of the month, 7-9pm in a home.

Trinity Student Fellowship

When Jesus was 12 years old, his parents found him sitting in the temple, listening to the teachers and asking questions. “Jesus grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and men” (Luke 2:52). Our young adult ministry strives to do the same, all the while building fellowship and friendship and having fun together. Seventh to twelfth grade students are welcome. We usually meet monthly during the school year and weekly in the summer. See the calendar for details.
